Construction has been one of the strongest threads through my career. It taught me to think in scope, quantities, interfaces, cost, evidence and responsibility.

Quantity surveying

My academic foundation is a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying. That training shaped the way I break down commercial problems.

International project environments

Since 2009 I have worked across the UK, the Middle East and Australia, with aggregate consulting exposure to more than $1 billion of project environments.

Development and SME experience

I have also experienced projects from the owner and SME side, where finance, planning, procurement, customer expectations and personal risk become more immediate.

Sustainable building

My interest in embodied energy and lower-impact materials led into hands-on exploration of hemp-lime construction and other sustainable approaches.
